Today we weighed objects using a different type of weighing 'machine'. We put objects in a plastic snap lock bag. Then we clipped the bag to a bulldog clip that was attached to a long piece of elastic.
We then measured what number on the ruler the bag came down to. We found out the heavier the object, the bigger the number was! We then put the bags in order from lightest to heaviest.

Today we started our new Maths unit about Measurement. Today we had to weigh Lambchop using non standard units. In this case we used cars. We put Lambchop on one side of the balance and kept putting cars on the other side until it balanced. Lambchop weighed 34 cars!
