MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Thank you all for the privilege of teaching your wonderful children.   We have had a great year and the kids have made amazing progress.

REMINDERS!

End of year reports go home on MONDAY!  They will also include information re your child's teacher for next year.

The Te Puawai concert is on Moday at 5.30pm.  Performers need to be at school at 5pm.  You are welcome to attend even if your child is not part of Te Puawai.

Tuesday is Right Choice Day.  A notice will come on on Monday afternoon.

School finishes at 12noon on Wednesday.  We have our final assembly at 10.30am.  You are warmly invited to attend.

NINE CHEEKY DUCKS!

One day one little girl was walking down the road.  Suddenly she turned around.  She saw ducks everywhere!  The ducks followed her. The ducks thought the yellow umbrella was her mother

OUR NEW FRIENDS!

We'd like to introduce you to our new friends in LC 2.  Zoha, Molly,  Alex and Kale.  Welcome to school kids!

THE BABY DUCKS IN A CUP!

Quack, quack.   Two little ducks flew into the cup.   "Quack!"
The woman dld not know two ducks were in there.
"I do not like ducks in my drlnk of water!"
The baby ducks flew in to their nest .

GRUMPY CAT!

Chomp, chomp, chomp.
"Mum I want more breakfast," said the cat.
"Only if you eat the rest,"
"Okay, I will eat it," said the cat.
"I'm finished eating my breakfast," said the cat.
"Are you tricking me?" said Mum.
"Let me look under the table," said Mum.
"Look what I found under the table.  It's your fish!"

THE SHOPPING BUNNY!

"Oh nuts, I need to get some more carrots for my little baby rabbit" sighed mother rabbit at breakfast time.  So out she went all the way to the shop.  She bought t-h-o-u-s-a-n-d-s of carrots.  It took almost forever.  At last she stopped and went to the counter.  It took a long time to scan all the carrots because it took 20 minutes!  It was a very long time.  Mother Rabbit whined a little but then "all done!"  

OUR AMAZING WRITING!

Mrs Lunn was spoilt for choice today as to who should have their story in the window.   In the end three very clever girls were chosen!   They even got to go and share their stories with Mr McCallum.  He was so impressed he gave them each a flash certificate!   Well done girls!  

MICKEY MOUSE'S POOL DAY!

"Look out!" said Mickey Mouse.
It was a toasting hot day at the pool.  Mickey the lifeguard was hot. He wanted to cool off.  He tried to open the pool gate but it was locked.

Mickey tried climbing over the gate but it was too slippery. He tried an axe but it was too strong.  He tried going sideways but it was too small.  He tried sliding under but the gap in the fence was too small.  He tried a key.  It worked.
"Cannonball!"  SPLASH!
Mickey was sinking.  He was too heavy.  Minnie looked outside but no one was outside .. but Mickey was.  Mickey swam up, he got his doughnut ring.  He sprinted into the pool.  He was relaxing.
"Oi!" said Minnie.  "Get out of there!"
"Jump in," said Mickey.
"OK, I will," said Minnie.
SPLASH!

MICKEY GOES SPLASH!

"Splash!" Said Mickey.

"I like the holidays," said Mickey Mouse.

"I want to relax in the water," said Mickey.

"I'm going home."

THE DOG'S DAY OUT

Lick, lick, lick.
The dog wanted to have a ride in the special wheelbarrow.  
Jack the baby, pushed the invisible wheelbarrow along.

"This is fun I love riding in a wheelbarrow," said the dog.
"Thank you Jack!"

"Goo-goo, ga-ga, just doing my job," said the baby called Jack.

THE ATHLETICS DAY!

"On your marks get set... Go!" The school kids were nervous but when the man shouted "GO!" we all ran as fast as a cheetah.
Allie ran as fast as The Flash.
Allie was the champion.
Allie was given a golden medal.

Run, run, JUMP!  I came 3rd in long jump. I came 2nd in shot put and I came 3rd hurdles.
In the run, I ran super fast up to the sand.  I jumped.
I was proud of myself.

Twinkle, twink, flutter. 

Lila the Tooth Fairy came into Lily's house through the window.  She looked under her whlte pillow and there was three teeth.  The Tooth Fairy took the teeth and gave her three dollars and gave her a kiss goodnight.

SNAP! I want to eat you up,"

"Argh! Please don't eat me up," the little girl called as she raced away.

"Mummy!  There's an alligator and it wants to eat me up,"

"I am coming!  Where is it?  Huh?  Oh no!  Have you been tricking me?"

"No there really was an alligator."  

"I don't believe you," said mum

"Oh man!"

THE BIG CROCODILE!

"I am going away," said the crocodile.

"Come back," said the zoo keeper.

"I didn't see the crocodile go away," said the zoo keeper but the crocodile went on.  

Just then the crocodile saw a swimming pool. 

"Yay!" he said.

"See you later alligator."  They said to the crocodile.
