SYNONYMS WORKSHOP!
Today Miss Lynch held a Press Conference with all the Freelance Writers (the kids with a Press Pass). They looked at some of the words they use ALL the time in their writing and thought of words that mean the same thing. Miss Lynch wrote each of the alternative words on a paint strip. She is going to put them on the wall. Hopefully you'll never read "IT WAS COOL! " in our stories ever again!

CHECK OUT THE CHICKENS!
We had a fantastic day today. We made chickens with Miss Lynch and Mrs Pyle. Aren't they cute! We also made pikelets in Piako Time! School is so much fun!

WALKATHON
Here are some photos of us participating in the Walkathon. Miss Lynch snapped some great action shots and plenty of determined faces!
Mrs Lunn and Miss Lynch were SO proud of our effort and how far we ran/walked - all our cross country training paid off! AND we helped raise lots of money for our school!

MULTIPLICATION MASTERS!
The Squares and Triangles Maths groups are learning how to multiply by counting all objects, or counting on in 2s, 5s and 10s.
We used houses of bears today to help us visualize the multiplication equation. This was a fantastic way for us to learn! Miss Lynch thinks we're super flash!

WALKATHON PRIZE GIVING
This morning we had the Walkathon prize giving assembly for the children who had brought their sponsorship money back to school on time. 3 lucky kids in LC2 received prizes! Congratulations Allie, Jack and Sam! How exciting!

PRESS CONFERENCE!
Today Miss Lynch held a Press Conference. All the kids with Press Passes had a special meeting where they learnt how to ask questions and how to add more details to their writing. Cameron wrote such a great story today, he got his story in the window.

LUNCHTIME BUDDIES!
Mrs Lunn was on duty today at lunchtime and look who she ran into! Emma and Macy were having a great time playing and holding hands in the playground. So cute!
